Pathway AI ("we", "us", "our") is operated by Pathway to Salesforce Limited. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use our platform at https://pathwayai.app and any related services, including our learning tools, internship simulations, and study trackers.

We collect the following types of information:

• Account information: your name, email address, profile photo, country, and phone number when you create an account.
• Learning data: your study progress, quiz and exam results, project submissions, goals, and activity within the platform.
• Payment information: processed securely by Stripe. We never store your full card details.
• Communications: messages you send within the platform, support requests, and feedback.
• Usage data: pages visited, features used, and session duration, to improve the product.

If you choose to connect your Google account, Pathway AI requests access to your Google Calendar (scope: calendar.events) for one purpose only:

• To create, update, and remove calendar events for your own study deadlines, tasks, and exam dates — so your Pathway AI schedule appears in your personal Google Calendar.

We want to be completely clear about what we do not do:

• We do not read, scan, or analyse your existing calendar events beyond those created by Pathway AI.
• We do not share, sell, or transfer your Google Calendar data to any third party.
• We do not use Google user data for advertising purposes.
• No humans read your Google data, except with your explicit permission for support, where required for security, or to comply with law.

Pathway AI's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

You can disconnect your Google Calendar at any time from your settings within the platform, or revoke access via your Google Account permissions page. Upon disconnection, we stop syncing and no longer access your calendar.

• To provide and personalise the platform, including AI-powered learning feedback and progress tracking.
• To process subscriptions and payments.
• To send service emails such as reminders, progress updates, and account notices. You can opt out of non-essential emails.
• To provide customer support and respond to your requests.
• To maintain the security and integrity of the platform.

We do not sell your personal data to anyone.

We use a small number of trusted processors to operate the platform:

• Base44 — application hosting and database infrastructure.
• Stripe — payment processing.
• Postmark — transactional email delivery.
• AI providers (e.g. OpenAI, Anthropic, Google) — to power AI features. Your data is not used to train their models.
• Google — calendar sync, only if you connect your account.

Each provider only receives the data necessary to perform its function.

• All data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) and stored on secured infrastructure.
• Google access tokens are stored encrypted and are never exposed to other users.
• We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, your personal data is deleted.

Depending on your location (including under UK/EU GDPR), you have the right to:

• Access a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate data.
• Delete your account and personal data (available directly in the app via Settings → Delete Account).
• Withdraw consent for integrations such as Google Calendar at any time.
• Object to or restrict certain processing.
